1) Trainer: You demonstrate best and good practices and increase the theoretical and practical knowledge of your team member by instruction.

2) Mentor: You provide guidance on approaches to and resources for self-education.

3) Coach: You help your team member to understand and modify their mental and emotional approach to solving problems at the meta-level, so that they can develop patterns that help them approach challenges with more ease in the future.
